A 7-Day Challenge for Single Women of Faith
But what if I told you that wholeness doesn't begin with a man—it starts with the Master.
If you’re a single woman of faith in your mid-20s or early 40s, you’ve probably asked yourself, "Why am I still waiting?" "Is there something wrong with me?" "What do I do in the meantime?"
These aren’t just questions—they're soul cries. And the truth is, you are not broken. You are not behind. And you are not forgotten by God.
In fact, this season of singleness may be one of the most powerful seasons of preparation, purpose, and personal growth you'll ever walk through. That’s why we created the “Whole Before the One” – 7-Day Challenge for Single Women of Faith.
Why This Challenge Was Created
As women, we often attach our value to relationships, titles, or status. We can easily forget that our first and most meaningful relationship is with the One who created us. Jesus sees you, knows you, and is not withholding anything good from you.
Psalm 84:11 (KJV) reminds us:
“For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.”
This powerful verse tells us that God is light (guidance, warmth) and protection (shield). He is generous, not stingy. If something is perfect for you this season, He will provide it.
So, if you're still single, it’s not because God is punishing you or forgetting you—it’s because He knows what’s best and is refining your heart for something more profound.
Singleness in the Eyes of Jesus
While there aren’t many direct quotes from Jesus specifically about single women, He consistently elevated the dignity, identity, and spiritual purpose of women, married or not.
One key moment is in Luke 10:38-42, when Jesus visits the home of Mary and Martha. Instead of staying in the kitchen, Mary sits at Jesus’ feet—a bold position of a disciple. Martha is busy serving, but Jesus gently corrects her:
“Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” — Luke 10:42 (KJV)
Mary is not defined by marriage, motherhood, or men, but by her devotion. Jesus affirms her identity and purpose outside of domestic expectations, which in that culture was radical.
Another powerful example is Matthew 19:11-12, where Jesus speaks about singleness (eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven), explaining that some choose to remain unmarried to serve God more fully. While the context is broad, the principle applies: singleness is not second-class—it’s sacred when lived for God's glory.

The Bigger Picture
This challenge is also a doorway into something more profound. At the end of the seven days, you’ll be invited to join our Bible Study Discipleship Class, which will launch in August 2025. It’s a decisive next step for those who want to grow in community, purpose, and biblical wisdom.
You don’t have to do this alone. God never designed your journey to be walked in isolation. He calls us to wholeness, together.
Remember, your singleness is not a pause—it’s a preparation. And more importantly, it’s a calling. Just like Mary, you are invited to sit at Jesus’ feet, to be seen, known, and chosen by Him.
