Scripture: Isaiah 40:3-5 A voice of one calling: "In the wilderness prepare the way for the LORD; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken." God gives Isaiah a word of hope. Isaiah reveals the ministry of John the Baptist and Jesus.

A prayer of hope as we rejoice in the season of Advent.

Heavenly Father, in this sacred moment of prayer, we humbly gather our spirits in alignment with the prophetic words from Isaiah, "In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord."

We come before you, seeking the grace to make straight the paths in the desert of our lives, creating highways for your divine presence. Lord, lift us as we transverse the valleys of our existence when towering mountains of challenges seem insurmountable; make them low. Smooth out the rough and unseen ground of our hearts, transforming the rugged places into planes of peace and understanding.

We earnestly pray that the revelation of your glory may illuminate our lives and become a beacon for all to witness. May this revelation be a source of unity, bringing together people from all walks of life to marvel at the majesty of your presence with gratitude.

We acknowledge that your word declares these promises and trust in your faithfulness. Guide us, O' Lord, as we prepare for your divine entrance into our hearts and the hearts of all your children. For we know that your mouth has spoken, and in your word, we find solace, hope, and assurance of your unwavering love.

We pray in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
